Wrong Times of India News: We all know that yesterday, passing out parade took place at the IMA. Now, look at some pics of today’s New Delhi edition of Times of India.
Wrong Times of India News –
Did you notice one thing common in all these news?
Out of 247 cadets, they published news regarding just 3 cadets. You could say that there is nothing wrong in it. But then just look at the names of these three cadets.
I hope you get the hint. They all belong to one particular community. This newspaper, which finds a religious angle in every news, didn’t leave even our future army officers. I myself belong to the same community and believe that the youth of my community should be encouraged to join defense forces. But is not it incorrect to expose news about a few cadets which have only one element in common? Actually, I don’t have a hassle with news of the Afghan cadet however what about others?
If you open this newspaper you will find that 50% of the pages are covered with advertisements and 25% pages with communal news.
One of my pals got 15000 ranks in JEE Advance, he did not even get NIT however he had a separate column in Times of India newspaper. Why did the newspaper provide him so much significance? The purpose is identical.
Even their editorial is filled with articles of some pseudo-liberal, pseudo-feminists and pseudo secular’s like Shobha De and Radhika Vaz. When a soldier dies they use the phrase ‘killed’ in headlines rather than the phrase ‘martyred’, and use the word ‘militant’ rather than ‘terrorist’.
These form of media homes are greater communal than political events that locate faith and caste in each call and surname.
